Product Story

Hey there, friend!
Each February 7th, many people celebrate Tyler’s birthday by “being extra kind to folks, seeing people for who they really are, and maybe making a new friend along the way.” Tyler’s cousin, Paul Farmer, and his family have carried that tradition close to their hearts year after year. This year, Paul and his son Nolan found a new way to honor Tyler’s spirit—by transforming the story from his Eagle Scout video, “I’m Tyler… Don’t Be Surprised,” into this children’s book. After months of creativity, collaboration, and love, their efforts have brought Tyler’s message to life in a new and lasting way. It’s yet another reminder that, as Tyler showed us all, “What you CAN do is much more important than what you can’t.” Thanks, Paul and Nolan, for helping Tyler’s story keep shining bright. And thanks to you for reading it! Now go out there —  be kind, make a friend, and show the world what you can do.
